DESCRIPTION:Join us as The Lancaster Chamber Singers\, directed by Conner Newkam-Ulrich\, perform an extraordinary afternoon of sacred and secular choral works. \nFounded in 1978\, the Lancaster Chamber Singers is a select group of 35 to 40 auditioned volunteer vocalists dedicated to bringing our culture’s rich choral heritage to life. Beyond their regular regional concert seasons\, the ensemble has appeared at prestigious venues including the National Cathedral in Washington\, D.C.\, Longwood Gardens\, and the Brandywine Museum of Art. \n\nEnsemble Highlights \nPerformance history includes Mozart’s Requiem\, the Pennsylvania premiere of James Bassi’s Harpsonnets\, and debuts of commissioned works by local composers. In addition to a cappella selections\, the Singers frequently collaborate with notable instrumentalists and perform charity benefit concerts throughout the region. \n\nWe invite you to experience an inspiring afternoon of musical excellence!
