The Manger Project
An annual event held prior to Christmas. Gifts of clothing and toys for children and youth, gift certificates for groceries and heating oil and donations to the “Got Teeth” program are provided by members and friends of Trinity to people from our community who are in need of assistance
Blankets for Lutheran World Relief
A group of women meets each Tuesday morning to knot comforters that are sent each fall to the Church World Center in New Windsor, MD. As needed, these comforters are then sent to many different countries to be used for warmth, shelter, and sometimes as a means to carry belongings. The group makes over100 comforters a year.
Warm Soles Sock Project
Members of Trinity collect socks of all sizes to be distributed to local children and adults by the ELANCO Ministerium. In past years, Trinity has donated over 200 pairs of socks.
Hats, Scarves and Gloves Project
A group of women meets each Tuesday afternoon to knit or crochet hats, scarves and gloves to be distributed to local children and adults. Some Trinity members participate in this project from home.
Members of Trinity donate toiletries and clothing to Veterans at both the Lebanon and Coatesville VA Hospitals. Members also participate in the Valentines for Vets project. Valentines with a note of thanks are collected and distributed to the VA Hospitals.
Members of Trinity along with members of other community churches walk, ride bicycles, or sponsor walkers and bikers to raise funds for local and world hunger. This is an annual event held in October.
Habitat for Humanity
This program assists in building homes in Lancaster County. Several Trinity members are involved with this program.
Love In The Name of Christ is a Lancaster County organization that assists with various needs in the county. A few Trinity members are on call to provide transportation for doctor and treatment appointments.
Trinity has also recently become involved with Homes of Hope, a program of Love INC, by providing an apartment that is on the church’s property for a local homeless family.
ELANCO Social Services Network
ESSN is a new ministry that started in January of 2012 to help those in need in our school district. Trinity has been involved in the leadership of the creation of this ministry over the past 3 plus years. 717-354-3776 or email
Luthercare Retirement Communities
Serving Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, Luthercare offers various types of independent living, personal care and skilled nursing on our retirement campuses in Lititz, Columbia and Lebanon, and also operates five child care centers throughout the area.
